ISAGEN AND ATLAS RENEWABLE ENERGY PARTNER TO DEVELOP 1,000 MW OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN COLOMBIA

BOGOTA, Aug. 3, 2023 – This new joint project development alliance represents a relevant milestone for ISAGEN in its growth process and commitment to the nation’s increased demand, requiring the entry of new renewable energy generation projects.
The objective of the alliance is to jointly develop a 1,000 MW platform with renewable sources over the next few years through a strategic alliance that will allow Atlas Renewable Energy to materialize its expansion plan in Colombia and ISAGEN to consolidate its leadership in the energy transition. ISAGEN has an installed capacity of more than 3,000 MW of 100% renewable energy.
With this partnership, ISAGEN brings its strength and nearly 30 years of experience in generating and commercializing renewable energy in Colombia. On the other hand, Atlas Renewable Energy will bring its development and construction expertise with a proven track record in renewable energy in Latin America. We aspire to consolidate this partnership in the short term with projects that contribute to expanding the capacity Colombia needs today.
